Test Format, Test Pattern and Syllabus
Eligibility for NSPT Class: 6th to 12th
Phase 1: 9th to 12th
Phase 2: 6th to 8th
For Each Phase there will be two levels of test as follows:
Level 1: Qualifying Test
At School / City Level
Duration: 30 Minutes
No negative marking
Half an hour written quiz (objective test: Multiple Choice Questions) to be conducted in schools as per their convenience
Level 2: Proficiency Test
At National Level
Duration: 3 hours
Negative marking shall be there to scrutinize the students at National Level
Three hours objective tests at selected test centres to be conducted for
- Qualified 10 students in each class per school (7 X 10 = 70)
- On the basis of students' performance in each category following positions shall be declared and honored
- Best performing School (On National Level)
- Best performing School (On City Level / State Level)
- City Topper Students in each category
- State Level Students in each category
- National Topper Students in each Category
- Zone-wise topper students in each Category
- East | West | North | South Zone
The details of test centres shall be informed to the qualifying students.
TEST PATTERN
- Objective Type Questions with Multiple Choices
- Common Test Paper for CBSE and State Board Students
- Question paper will comprise of questions on the following subjects of the level of last passed class.

- Maths
- Mental Ability (Psychometric)
- General Awareness
For XI & XII
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Maths / Biology (Student has to choose any one subject)
- Mental Ability (Psychometric)
