Test Format, Test Pattern and Syllabus
Eligibility for NSPT
Students of Class 10th to 12th (Science). This test is specifically designed for those students who are on the verge of shaping their careers. The test is scientifically and technically designed to analyze various aspects and honor talent.
Test Pattern:
- There will be one objective-type National Level Test of 150 minutes (two and half hour) duration. The distribution will be like this:
- 2.30 hours for Main Test : 100 questions
- The questions will be based on Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Mental Ability & General Knowledge
- The question paper shall consist of Single Choice Questions.
- The negative marking will be there to scrutinize the students.
- There will be common test paper for CBSE, ICSE and State Board Students.
- Question paper will comprise of questions on above mentioned subject of the level of current class and last passed class.
Syllabus and Distribution of Questions:
For Class X
- Science: 40 questions
- Maths 35 questions
- Mental Ability / Reasoning 15 questions
- General Knowledge 10 questions
For Class XI & XII (Science)
- Physics 25 questions
- Chemistry 25 questions
- Maths / Biology 25 questions
(Student has to choose any one subject)
- Mental Ability / Reasoning 15 questions
- General Knowledge 10 questions
Examination Schedule:
Date: 16th October, 2011 (Sunday)
Time: 10:00 am to 12:30 pm
SYLLABUS FOR TEST
Test Centres:
- Test Centre details and Roll No. shall be available on the admit card going to be issued to the students.
- Admit Cards shall be sent at residential address 5 days before the test. The same shall be informed to the respective schools along with Roll No. list of participating students.
- Test Centre details and Roll No. shall be sent to the students via SMS on Mobile also.
On the basis of students performance in each category following positions shall be declared and honored:
- Best Performing School (On National Level)
- City Topper Students in each category
- State Level Students in each category
- Zone-wise topper students in each category
East Zone | West Zone | North Zone | South Zone
